  • Wireless Internet – Use one of the library’s computers to access the Internet, or bring in your laptop.
  • Online Databases – The library has subscriptions to the following databases:
    • FirstSearch Database – A uniform interface to over 40 different databases covering a variety of subject areas.
    • Infotrac Web – Provides libraries access to the Gale Group’s complete collection of full-text databases, custom databases and other leading publishers’ reference product. Locate the answers to your research questions.
    • Sirs Discoverer – General reference for young researchers.
    • Heritage Quest – A genealogy database including U.S. Federal Census data (1790-1930) and much more.
    • World Book Online – Includes every article in the 22 volume print edition and much more.
    • Literature Resource Center – Includes author biographies, literary essays, overviews,plots, criticism and critical essays on poetry, children literature, classical and medieval works, novel selections form a wide variety of sources and much more.
    • Custom Newspaper – A full text database of over 160 U.S. newspapers and English language foreign papers.
    • ProQuest – Includes Nursing Journals Database, The ABI/Inform suite of Business and Economics resources and Research Library (2250 full text journals).
  • Kansas Library Catalog – Search all of the card catalogs in Kansas’ libraries.
  • Kansas Library Card – Kansas residents: Access all of the above databases, plus NetLibrary E-Books, from your own computer with a Kansas Library Card.

  • Support materials to use with this early childhood program are available for loan
Rex Lafferty Community Room
  • Available for use at no charge. Sign up at the library. Donations are accepted.
